Mission
Our mission is to encourage God’s people in Peru and to assist them in carrying the love of Jesus Christ to their community.
Vision
Our vision is to encourage the local body of believers and to provide them assistance as they share the gospel in their native tongue. It is our heart's desire to work side-by-side with the Christian nationals in their outreach programs (AWANA/OANSA) and to assist in the matriculation of adult women from the orphanage (Hope House) and the shelter (Pat’s Place) to begin independent life in their own community. Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Through prayer and counsel with Godly men, He has shown us that the paths our lives have taken, have prepared us for this ministry for this season of our lives. We are amazed at God's grace, His faithfulness, and the power of prayer as we walk with Him. We believe we are only one part of the body necessary for a complete ministry. Ministry is a T.E.A.M. approach - Together Each Achieves More. We are to be united with one vision, Ephesians 4:4-6 “There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called—one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all”, and in First Corinthians 12:11-12 “All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines. The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body.”
We believe the Lord of the harvest wants each of us, not just evangelists, to bring the message of good news to the nations. Our vision is to assist the Peruvian Christians in this effort with encouragement spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, 'Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.'" We are called to “be on mission” (be missionaries) wherever we are and at this time we believe He has called us to be in Peru sharing this message.
Core Values
The first core value of our ministry is encouraging and assisting the Peruvian Christians in their outreach programs which will serve as an evangelical tool in sowing, nurturing, and reaping the harvest. Everything we do has that focus.
The second core value of our ministry is researching avenues of employment and housing, to assist the young adult women in the orphanage and shelter as they matriculate back into their own community. Making room for other women who need the safe environment to become healthy emotionally, physically and spiritually will be accomplished.
Statement of Faith
Our HOPE is in Jesus Christ. We want to bring hope to the Peruvian Christians as they share HOPE in their communities. We desire to serve Jesus Christ in this way so that we can "bring Him glory by completing the work He has given us to do.” John 17:4
The inerrancy of the Holy Bible - The scriptures, which include the Old and New Testaments, are divinely inspired and represent the infallible and authoritative word of God in all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)
Belief in one true God - There is one eternal God, existent in three persons - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22)
Jesus Christ – fully God and Man, the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.
Born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31-35) Lived a Sinless life (Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22; Hebrews 4:15)
Died on the Cross to atone for our sins (1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21)
Bodily rose from the dead (Acts 1:9; Acts 2:32; Hebrews 1:3)
Now sits at the right hand of His Father (Acts 2:33; Hebrews 10:12)
He will return to earth in power and glory (Matthew 24:27; Revelation 19:11-14)
Salvation - Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and we are cleansed from sin through repentance and regeneration of the Holy Spirit. (John 3:3; Luke 24:46-47; Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8; Titus 2:11-12; Titus 3:5-7; John 6:63)
The Holy Spirit - our abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide, indwells and empowers every believer in Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:11; Romans 8:26-27; John 15:26; John 14:16-17; Isaiah 61:1, Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:10)
