STATESIDE VISIT....Part 2

It's been wonderful! Fantastic! Exciting! Unbelieveable! All that and more rolled up into one short visit. And, to be honest with you, seeing our family and many friends has cuased us to realize how much we really have missed them! Talking face to face, hugging and laughing. These are precious times...sitting and chatting over coffee, having a grandchild climb up on my lap, or snuggle next to me, hearing them call Papa over and over again, or being totally surprised by a long-time friend showing up to visit with us. Thank you to all of our friends and family. We have had four get togethers and over 100 friends have come together to welcome us back, to hear of what the Lord is doing, and to encourage us as we move onward.

During the past week we have enjoyed the people and beauty of Georgia! It's spring time and that's not only a pretty time of year, but the weather has been wonderful and the welcome home has been better than we ever expected. We have been very busy and have enjoyed every minute but I'm beginning to think we will need a vacation when we get back home! There is work to be done, and we are looking forward to addressing the issues and getting back on track when our furlough is over.

So as I sit here trying to write to you, a 5 year old is exercising patience waiting for me. I have to balance my time and activities and have decided that people are very important to us, and family even more. So, that's it for this blog. Playing awaits me and I can write more to you at a later time. In a nutshell, thank the Lord for our healthy, happy family.
